How To Charter A Girls Club

In order for a group to become chartered, a request form must be completed and sent to the International Women’s Ministries Department in Cleveland, Tennessee. The cost of the charter is a one-time fee of $6.00 per club. With that purchase, the club is eligible to receive membership cards at no charge upon request.

In addition, each club will receive a charter certificate, which may be framed and displayed in the club meeting site.

Counselor Certification Program

Counselor training is available through our new certification course, CETC, and is an excellent tool for self or group study. It will assist with some of the special challenges in teaching Girls Clubs. It consists of six sections titled as follows:

  • A Girls Club Counselor – Models
  • A Girls Club Counselor – Mentors
  • A Girls Club Counselor – Motivates
  • A Girls Club Counselor – Maintains
  • A Girls Club Counselor – Monitors
  • A Girls Club Counselor – Ministers

Girls On A Mission Missions Project

The International Women’s Ministries adopts a missions project each General Assembly and pledges support to that program throughout the two-year period following the General Assembly. The project for this two-year period is entitled, "From Brokenness to Blessing" and supports Peniel-a drug and alcohol treatment program. Please contact the State Office at kycoggc@aol.com to obtain information on how your Girls Club can get involved.

International Girls Clubs Week

During Valentine’s week, each year, Girls Clubs participants are given the opportunity to minister in the home, church, community, and world. Each year a program containing suggested activities on our current Girls on a Mission project is made available and can be ordered from the International Women’s Ministries Department.

Prayer Mother Program

Girls Clubs also provides an opportunity for prayer partnership with our Prayer Mother Program. This program was designed with the purpose of mentoring young women. In this ministry, a Christian woman is paired with a club member and they commit to pray daily for one another.

For informational brochures, an installation program, ribbons, or commitment cards, please contact the Women’s Ministries Department at womsales@churchofgod.cc and request a copy of the Women’s Ministries Resource Catalog to place your order.

Insight Magazine

Insight is a quarterly publication for Girls Clubs counselors, prayer mothers, teachers, and other church leaders. It contains articles, teaching tools, crafts, and activities of other clubs.
